Networking is a basic part of business and social promotion, and yet a good number of us struggle doing it. In the current podcast a pro shows how to make it effortless to supercharge your relationships.

You’ve often heard me say how much I enjoy podcasting because it gives me a chance to talk with some very interesting people. Mark Sieverkropp is pretty high on that list because there is a comfortable air about him that makes you understand why he is focused on showing others how to develop relationships and why they are important. He enjoys meeting people, is good at it, and has broken down some of the components of what comes easily to someone like him to help you understand the process.

I listened during our Skype chat as he describes how you need to change your thinking about the entire process of meeting people, and narrow it down to the level of your everyday encounters. Thinking in terms of networking adds pressure to the Markprocess when all you are really doing is sharing an interest, satisfying a curiosity, or just trying to get more information. Simple as that.

Mark is the classic “connector”. These are people who know how to get things done because they understand the importance of relationships. As Mark puts it, “If there is something you have not been able to get done in your life it’s because you have not found the right relationship that will help you do it.” Finding sympathetic or supportive “others” is the energy food we all need either on a business or personal level, and that is why relationships are so important. And, this is where you come in because YOU can be that other.

But don’t take my word for it, listen to Mark explain it in a way that breaks it all down so that it now seems much less of a mountain to climb. Meeting new people will take on a whole new meaning for you…
