The Foodie Entrepreneur, Chi Dela Resma provided her current podcast update from beautiful Sydney, Australia as she decided to discuss the career differences of the foodie versus the chef. It appears that both career paths spring from passion and a love of food but take somewhat different directions once the career choice is made.
The chef has formal training which seems to have generated a great deal of respect from our foodie, and yet she understands the passion and struggles of the sometime self taught foodie who wants to make cooking a career. Both paths produce cooks who create great food and to illustrate the point we’ve featured the websites of four chefs and three foodies.
Below are links to their varied websites.

I’ll admit that I am not a foodie, have a passion for eating good food but not cooking it. However, what my untrained eye discovered is that the chef produces specialty dishes and the foodie cook shows how to make the ordinary fantastic. Listen to the podcast and you decide.
